Jim has a deep love and understanding of wood that only comes from working with it for decades. His work is flawless, and many of his pieces have been used in movies, museums and amusement park exhibits because they are so historically accurate.

Our whole crew had a great time in Nebraska with Jim and his wife Marilyn. Here are some of the things we learned:

  • the people of Nebraska are incredibly friendly
  • there are more cows than people
  • the wind patterns mangle the trees making them pretty useless for woodworking
